All of our evening summer classes are drop-ins

That means you don’t have to register in advance, just show up for class!

We have three options for payment:

  • Pay as you go (cash, check, credit/debit card, or charge studio account)

    • $12 for 60min classes

    • $16 for 90min classes

  • Purchase a 10-Class Card online (doesn’t expire and can be shared by family members)

    • $100 for 60min Class Card

    • $140 for 90min Class Card

  • Purchase an Unlimited Summer Drop-in Pass (expires 8/22/19 and cannot be shared by family members)

    • $220 for 60min Classes

    • $350 for 90min Classes (If you purchase a 90min Class Unlimited Drop-in Pass, you can also use it for 60min classes)

Weekly Drop-in Classes,  June 3 - August 22

Creative Movement, Tuesdays, 5:15-6pm, Price: $8 per class (no punch card available)

A ballet based creative movement class that teaches basic steps and technique with an element of imagination and play. For dancers currently in Creative Movement 1 or 2, or new to dance, age 3-6.

Beginner Ballet, Wednesdays, 5:30-6:30pm

For dancers new to Ballet, currently in Level 1, or moving up from Fundamentals.

 

Beginner Jazz/Modern, Mondays, 4-5pm

 For dancers new to Jazz/ Modern, in Level 1, or moving up from Fundamentals, rotates styles each week.

 

Beginner Hip Hop, Mondays, 5:15-6:15pm

For Dancers new to Hip Hop, in Level 1 or moving up from Mini-Hoppers.

 

Intermediate Hip Hop, Wednesdays, 6-7pm

For Dancers currently in Level 2 or 3

 

Intermediate Jazz/Modern/Lyrical, Wednesdays, 4-5:30pm

For dancers currently in Level 2 or 3, rotates styles each week.

 

Intermediate Ballet, Mondays, 4-5:30pm                              

For dancers currently in Level 2 or 3.

 

Pre-Pointe, Mondays, 5:30-6:30pm

Strength and technique training in preparation for pointe work.  Instructor recommendation required.  Students must also take Intermediate or Advanced Ballet each week and must be attending class regularly in order to take this class.

 

Conditioning for Dancers, Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm

Strength, flexibility, and cardio training for dancers. Level 3 and up.

 

Advanced Hip Hop, Wednesdays, 7-8pm

For dancers currently in Level 4 or 5.

 

Advanced Jazz/Modern/Contemporary, Tuesdays, 4-5:30pm

For dancers currently in Level 4 or 5, rotate styles each week.

 

Advanced Ballet, Mondays, 6:30-8pm

For dancers currently in Level 4 or 5.  

 

Yoga, Mondays, 7-8pm

Open to everyone! Beginners, experienced yoga practitioners, and dancers welcome, age 10 and up.

 

Adult Dance Sampler, Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30pm

This class is for teens and adults who are new to dance are getting back into after some time off.  We will rotate each week between Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz, and Modern dance.

Adult Tap, Tuesdays, 7:30-8:30pm

For teens and adults, all levels of experience welcome!

 

Basic Belly Dance Technique, Wednesdays, 7-8pm

Join 47 North Belly Dance for a summer class series breaking down the basics of belly dance technique. There will be two six-week sessions offered; the same material will be covered in the second six weeks as the first. We will focus on a different skill each class with lots of drills and fun choreography. Perfect for beginners and those looking to clean up their technique. Dancers are encouraged to attend all classes, but drop-ins are always welcome. Age 14 and up.

                                                                                                    

Intermediate/Advanced Belly Dance, Wednesdays, 8-9pm

Work on more advanced layering techniques and trickier combos in a Tribal Fusion based Belly Dance class. Experience recommended. Age 14 and up.
