Summer Drop-in Classes run June 2 - August 21

all drop-in classes must be booked in advance. Classes may be booked up to 30 days in advance, but No later than 3pm on the day of the class.

All classes are available to attend in person or via Zoom. Space is limited for in person classes, so classes MUST be booked in advance online, no walk-ins allowed. Scroll down for class descriptions and schedule. Pricing information at the bottom of the page.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Young Dancers

Creative Movement 1, Mondays, 5:45-6:30pm

  • We will explore movement in a fun, age appropriate environment using stories, music, and imagination with a foundation in Ballet. AGE: 3-4 years

Creative Movement 2, Wednesdays, 5:15-6pm

  • We will explore movement in a fun, age appropriate environment using stories, music, and imagination with a foundation in Ballet. AGE: 4-5 years

Fundamentals, Tuesdays, 5:15-6:15pm

  • Students will learn the basics of Ballet and Tap in this combo class while using imagination and play. AGE: 5-6 years

Mini Hoppers, Monday, 6:45-7:30pm

  • Students will learn the basics of Hip Hop with age appropriate music and dance moves and lots of imagination and play. AGE: 5-6 years

Pre Ballet/Modern, Wednesdays, 4-5pm

  • Students will learn the basics of classical Ballet technique as well as exploring Modern dance through floorwork, grounded movement, and improvisation. AGE: 6-7 years

Pre Jazz/Tap, Tuesdays, 4-5p

  • Students will learn fancy footwork and sharp lines in Jazz, as well as the basics of making sounds with our feet in Tap dance. AGE: 6-7 years

Pre Hip Hop, Mondays, 4:15-5pm

  • Students will learn the basics of Hip Hop like isolations, floorwork, and footwork with age appropriate music and movements. AGE: 6-7 years

Beginner

For students placed in Level 1 or 2 by their instructor based on their End of Year Evaluations OR beginners age 8 and up. (Dancers younger than 8 must have instructor approval)

Special Topic and Adult Classes

Pre-Pointe, Mondays, 4:45-5:45pm

Strength and technique training in preparation for pointe work.  Instructor recommendation required.  Students must also take Intermediate or Advanced Ballet each week and must be attending class regularly in order to take this class. Instructor approval required, Level 4 and up.

Ballet Variations, Thursdays, 5:30-7pm

Ballet technique. Level 4 and up.

Conditioning for Dancers, Wednesdays, 4-5pm

Strength, cardio, and flexibility training geared specifically toward dancers. Level 3 and up.

Adult Tap, Mondays, 7:45-8:45pm

Open level class for teens and adults, suitable for beginners as well as experienced dancers.

Adult Ballet, Wednesdays, 6:45-7:45pm

Open level class for teens and adults, suitable for beginners as well as experienced dancers.

47 North Fusion Class, Wednesdays, 8-9pm

Open level transcultural fusion class. This class will incorporate traditional movement from Raqs Sharqi and other Middle Eastern dance along with a fusion of Hip Hop, Modern, Jazz, and Ballet, drawing from Rachel Brice’s Datura style and Zoe Jake’s Dancecraft technique.

Unlimited Summer Drop-in Pass

Are you planning to attend multiple classes each week? This is a great option for you! All drop-in classes must still be booked in advance, but you can select “Unlimited Summer Drop-in Pass” as your payment method when booking.

Please purchase the pass that reflects the level you will be most frequently attending, however, you can attend classes outside your regular level with the same pass. Passes may NOT be shared by multiple dancers. Expires 8/22/2025.
